On October 28th, bmi regional services switched to the flight code "BM" from "BD". This change has not affected any aspect of travel – flight schedules, aircraft and crews etc remain unchanged.
All bookings made under the "BD" code for travel on or after October 28th have been automatically transferred to the new "BM" code. Your flight details remain exactly the same with the exception that the flight number will change from "BD" to "BM" code, e.g. flight "BD1234" becomes flight "BM1234".
Your flight time does not change so you should check in as normal for your flight at the airport of departure.
Online Check-in will be available soon at www.bmiregional.com. Self-service check-in kiosks will remain available at certain airports where provided by the airport handling company. Kiosks which were provided by bmi or its partners are no longer available for bmi regional flights following the closure of bmi on October 28th.
All bookings should now be made through the bmi regional customer contact centre, on our website or via your travel agent..
Bookings made via the Customer Contact Centre or at the airports will be subject to a £8 /€12 (or local currency equivalent) per passenger per sector administration fee.
bmi regional is re-instating a number of agreements with former bmi partners. As these are rolled out, travel agencies will be able to make through bookings involving bmi regional and these partners. At the moment, an agreement with BA is in place and we expect others to be added in the next two weeks.
The ‘manage my booking’ facility at www.bmiregional.com will be available soon.
Following the closure of bmi mainline, Diamond Club and its membership benefits will no longer be available to bmi regional. We will be developing our own customer loyalty programme in the coming months and will keep you updated on this in the coming weeks.
Can I earn or redeem miles on other airline loyalty programmes on bmi regional?
Not yet. We are implementing agreements with partner airlines to allow our flights to be included in their programmes and will advise you as these agreements are completed.
Queries regarding delays and lost luggage on bmi regional flights should be directed to the bmi regional customer contact centre.
All of our contact details can be found on the contact us page.
